Membership has its benefits!

The 2009 / 2010 membership invoices have been sent to the main contact person at existing member institutions. Membership allows submissions to the National student awards, eligibility for faculty diversity awards, and access to all the great advice proffered by broadcast educators from coast-to-coast.

Welcome

Welcome to the Broadcast Educators Association of Canada, a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence in Media Education. If you’re an instructor at an accredited institution in Canada, you may already be a member, so please check the membership section. If you’re studying Radio, Television, Journalism or New Media in Canada, you can get information about our national awards.

For more than 35 years, through collaboration, the Broadcast Educators Association of Canada has assisted faculty and staff of Canadian Colleges and Universities. As a collective, we’ve appeared before CRTC hearings, presented the education perspective to the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) and regional associations, and through our annual National Conference, shared best practices that put our students first. If you’re a faculty member at an accredited Canadian College or University, you may already be a member.

micThis website is the point of contact for all things involving Broadcast Education in Canada, including our National faculty and student awards, our Diversity initiatives and our annual National conference. If you have any questions, or require more information about the BEAC, please feel free to use our contact form.
