The 2010 / 2011 membership invoices are being sent to the main contact person at existing member institutions. Membership allows submissions to the National student awards, eligibility for faculty diversity awards, and all the sharing and great advice from Broadcast educators coast-to-coast.

BEAC National Awards

THE BEAC National Student Awards Program

The Broadcast Educators Association of Canada wishes to honour the outstanding work produced by its students and recent graduates. Welcome to annual national BEAC student awards.

The BEAC National Student Awards Program recognizes and rewards the unique combination of creativity and technical excellence demonstrated by students in radio, television/video, and new media/animation taught in BEAC member institutions with 12 video and 6 audio awards. In addition, the best of the best is selected from both the audio and video categories and awarded The President's Awards (a cash prize).

The productions selected by the judging panels as reflecting the highest standards exemplified by BEAC will be recognized in an hour-long television special to be aired the following year.
